Can’t make it to Ala Moana Beach on Memorial Day? You can still float a lantern remembrance for a loved one.

Submit an online remembrance to us via our submission form by Sunday night, May 24, 2026, 11:59:59 p.m. Hawaii time. Your message will be placed on a Collective Remembrance Lantern. Then, watch the ceremony livestreamed or broadcast on TV on KHON on Monday, May 25, 2026 6:30 p.m. Those volunteers in canoes that you see? They’re placing the Collective Remembrance Lanterns into the water, setting afloat messages of love and gratitude sent in from people all over the world.
