Dedicated Line for Military Personnel
As part of our long-standing commitment to honoring and supporting our military community, we will have a dedicated line at the Lantern Request Tent (hours) for individuals with military identification. We want to recognize the sacrifices and service of our armed forces while providing a meaningful way for them to participate in this cherished event.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Military ID Requirement: Participants must present a valid military identification card (CAC, USID, or Legacy ID) to access the dedicated line.
2. Active Duty, National Guard, Reservists, Retirees, Veterans, and Dependents: The dedicated line is open to all Active-duty, National Guard, Reserves service members, Retirees, Veterans and their immediate family members (dependents).
3. Respectful Participation: We ask all participants to honor the traditions of the event and the spirit of remembrance as they engage in the lantern floating ceremony.
To better assist you, we suggest that military service members with disabilities make use of the Special Needs tent to receive a lantern, instead of the military line at the Lantern Request Tent.
Together, let us reflect, remember, and celebrate the dedication of our service members and their families.
