Live on Maui but want to be part of Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawaiʻi? If you’d like to float a lantern remembrance but are unable to attend the event on Oahu, there will be two events where you can write your own remembrance message for the ceremony.

📍Maui Mall Village, Kahului 

🕚 Sunday, May 3, 10am-2pm

🕚 Saturday, May 16, 10am-2pm

You will be able to handwrite a message onto special lantern paper in memory of loved ones. These lantern papers will be carried back to Oahu and affixed onto Collective Remembrance Lanterns, which will be floated from canoes by volunteers during the ceremony on Monday, May 25.
