Kauaʻi residents who would like to float a remembrance message during Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawaiʻi, but are unable to attend the ceremony on Oahu, may attend this special event at Kukui Grove.

🕚 Sunday, April 26, 2026, 11 am – 3 pm
📍Kukui Grove Center, Līhuʻe

You will be able to write a message onto special lantern paper in memory of loved ones. These lantern papers will be carried back to Oahu and affixed onto Collective Remembrance Lanterns, which will be floated from canoes by volunteers during the ceremony on Monday, May 25.
