Here are some additional tips:

• Feel free to write, draw or affix photos or images to the paper provided for the lantern.
• Firmly crease the edges/folds of the paper before securing it to the lantern base, to ensure a solid foundation.
• Please refrain from writing on, drawing on, or puncturing the foam lantern base. We refurbish each lantern for future use.
• Please don’t attach any items to the lantern. It creates a fire hazard for the volunteers who retrieve the lanterns after the event.
• For environmental and safety reasons, we strongly discourage adorning lanterns with lei.
