Many Rivers, One Ocean – Interactive Experience

During a period of relief during the global pandemic, our Hawaiʻi community was able to gather safely to connect past and present, and be inspired to express hope and gratitude in actions to create a peaceful future for all.

Art and light can bring hope, a sense of renewal, and connection. This interactive experience was the result of the creative efforts of lighting artist Hideaki Tsutsui, visual artist Boz Schurr, art students of Kamehameha Schools, musical composer Masahiro Nakawaki, and those who came to honor their loved ones.

View photos and video from the unique art installation that was a part of the Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawaiʻi 2021 in-person experience here.
