Will it be on TV or streamed online?
A special program of Share Your Light – A Shinnyo Lantern Floating Hawaiʻi Special will be broadcast live on Hawaii News Now KGMB from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. We will also be streaming live on this website from 6:30 – 7:00 p.m. HST (UTC-10). If you are unable to join us live, you will be able to view the ceremony in its entirety on this website after the event.

I’m going to miss the live broadcast/webcast. Will I be able to view it later?
Please see the Announcement box on our homepage for rebroadcast information. The video will also be available for your post-event viewing here.

Parking is available for those who have reserved a spot  for the Interactive Experience and Guided Meditation at Shinnyo-en Hawaii. If you are coming by car or being dropped off for the Interactive Experience, please enter from the entrance on Young Street. For the Guided Meditation, please park in either lot adjacent to the Shinnyo-en Hawaii temple building. The entrance to the diamond head lot is on Isenberg Street and the entrance to the ewa lot is on Beretania Street.

Wheelchair Accessibility
The Interactive Experience and Guided Meditation are all accessible by wheelchair.

Service Dogs
Only certified Service Dogs will be admitted. Under the ADA, a Service Dog must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered while in public with all four paws on the floor. Please refrain from bringing any other animals.

On-site Facilities
There will be one on-site portable bathroom facility at the Interactive Experience.

On-site Food and Refreshments
In consideration of health and safety guidelines, food and refreshments will not be permitted at the event. However, please feel free to bring your own bottle of water as needed.

If you misplace an item during your visit to our interactive experience or guided meditation, please contact Shinnyo-en Hawaii.
